BBraune || Joana V.

I grew up listening to my dad's vynil collection on his record player, which is still the same to this day (only a few needle changes over the years). It played a lot of Supertramp, Neil Diamond, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and all that jazz. My mom came from Brazil when she was seventeen so we also have some wild cards like soundtracks from classic soap operas from the 70's.

When I was about 13 we used to go to an antiques market every other sunday and I started adding my own to the collection. I had a lot of fun looking for treasures on those big boxes of old records, and some of my favorite finds are from that time. I only had a basic mp3 with enough space for 20 songs, so getting to have my own records felt pretty cool.

From them on, I never stopped buying records (or stealing them from my sister), and each one tells a story about a specific time & place in my life. For as long as I can remember, home has always been where the records are.
